Attention SSWLHC Members! 21st Century Cures Act Discussion

All are welcome to join us in an initial discussion of the 21st Century Cures Act, and in particular, the Federal Rules on Information Blocking. This change in the way that information is shared with patients and families has huge implications for social workers within health care. This Federal Rule goes into effect Nov 2, 2020.

Specifically in this discussion we are going to integrate the opportunity before social workers to embrace an anti-oppression framework for re-thinking our documentation.

This is NOT meant to be an overview OF the Information Blocking rule NOR is it meant to provide answers to the many questions that you may have.

It IS intended to share with you what we have begun to think about and identify as guiding principles and to ENGAGE you in the conversation itself.
