Feb 10 Webinar – Advocacy Champions: Social Workers in Action
SSWLHC’s Advocacy & Social Policy Committee is launching a new program to engage members in advocacy for healthcare social workers and the communities they serve. Our partners at NASW will share the importance of social work advocacy and provide tools to do national and local policy work. They will also update us on current initiatives.
Their student will also share his perspective on engaging the newer social workers in this work. The Society will then describe the Advocacy Warrior program and how members can get involved.
