President’s Corner
I would like to take this opportunity to share some exciting news, as we are in the third month of this new year.
Happy Social Work Month!
Louise Knight, Chair, SSWLHC
We are excited to share that we have added two new leadership roles on the Board: Secretary and Vice President. We have also invited leadership from our Foundation and Chapters to serve, as Ad Hoc members to ensure we are collaborating on a shared vision. Additionally, the Board has recognized that the we need to consider the size of the Board and terms to ensure we have continuity and historic knowledge. This will be a focus in the first quarter of the year.
Transitions: We have separated from TVD Associates at the close of 2023 and shifted to a volunteer management team. This transition was a decision that was important for both organizations.
