Upcoming Leadership Institute
A recent Harvard Business Review article by Raffaella Sadun and colleagues (HBR July-August 2022) explored the skills most needed by leaders at this time in our history. The conclusion? Companies need leaders who are good with people! As social workers, we have honed our “social” or “people skills” to a higher degree than most other leadership candidates. This is our opportunity to stand out!
The Leadership Institute, offered in conjunction with this year’s SSWLHC conference in Nashville in October, provides new and existing leaders with the opportunity to advance their leadership knowledge and practices to bring impactful and relationship based leadership to their organization. Our experienced faculty, Brigitte Baker and Lee Lucas, will introduce current leadership thinking and strategies to equip participants to take on the leadership challenges in today’s healthcare world.
