Northern CA Chapter
The Northern California Chapter of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care consists of social work professionals, working in various health care settings across Northern California, who are dedicated to:
- Promoting the universal availability, accessibility, coordination and effectiveness of health care that addresses the psychosocial components of health and illness,
- Working together for the well-being of our patients and their families,
- Leading, promoting, developing and supporting social work practice in health care.
Member Benefits
- Discounted Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
- Access to Chapter Membership Google Group, an email based service which allows easy communication with all chapter members for sharing news and information as well as seeking support from peers who face similar issues and dilemmas in Northern California.
- Two (2) membership meetings a year. These meetings are an opportunity to connect with other members, get involved with activities that the Chapter is planning and provide feedback to the Chapter Board.
