Maine Chapter

Our mission is to promote the empowerment of Social Work Leaders through advocacy, dissemination of information critical to job performance, education, informal networking opportunities, leadership development opportunities, promoting the profession, and promoting standards and ethics for the delivery of social work services in the health care.

The chapter is a group of social workers from varied employment settings who are committed to the social work ideals.  We have strong representation from long term care, hospitals and other health care settings. We have a good relationship with the schools of social work in the State.
